- TASTING NOTE: "Gosh, it is such a lively little number – clean and fresh with vibrant flavours and a hint of fruit sweetness. Raspberries-and-cream, red liquorice, ripe cherries, watermelon, hibiscus and a lovely smidge of feijoa in the mix. Crunchy acids and subtle dryness carry the long flavours, becoming a delectable combination of succulent, refreshing and moreish.." - West Cape Howe
- ABOUT THE WINE: This year, our Cape-to-Cape Rosé is a bright, bold, and utterly irresistible 50/50 blend of Shiraz and Tempranillo from our Mt Barker and Frankland River vineyards. Straight after harvest, the fruit was left on skins in bins for a few hours before being lightly pressed to stainless tank. This gave us free-run juice with such an amazing light yet bright and intense colour. The juice was then settled and fermented relatively quickly at cool temperatures; to retain the lovely fresh aromas and delicate fruit flavours we so love in this Rosé. It was then blended, lightly fined, and filtered before bottling.- West Cape Howe

ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Founded in 1997 and owned by four Western Australian families, West Cape Howe has become one of Western Australia’s favourite wine brands. The Langton vineyard was established in 1978 and has some of the most mature vines in the Great Southern, consistently producing the highest quality fruit. In recent years, West Cape Howe acquired neighbouring vineyards in Mt Barker and has significant vineyard resources in Frankland. With a reliable climate, these vineyards have contributed to the consistent quality of West Cape Howe’s wines.
