- TASTING NOTE: Made from organically grown Barbera, 'Rocharubino' delivers classic varietal character at outstanding value. Bright ruby in the glass with aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and subtle violet notes. Medium-bodied with Barbera's signature lively acidity, offering juicy red fruit flavours, a hint of spice, and a smooth, savoury finish. 2024 produced reds with vibrant fruit expression and excellent natural freshness. Versatile at the table, pairing beautifully with charcuterie, pasta with red sauce, grilled meats, or pizza. Importer Notes

ABOUT THE PRODUCER: The Extremely modest Cristina Bossotti and husband Davide decided to take over the family vineyards and Cantina in 2001 that had previously been run by her father Vincenzo. The wines produced prior to 2001 were mainly for family consumption and sold in bulk. Since 2002 Davide has worked organically and under guidance of Mario Redoglia (oenologist). Although the vineyards are not certified as such, Davide believes the wines should sell on their merits as being great wine, not because its marketed as organic or biodynamic or natural and having always traditionally worked in a natural way in the vineyard and cellar this seemed the right decision. All wines are vinified with natural yeast and with a very little amount of added sulfur to maintain the integrity of the wines once in bottle. All wines are vinified in stainless steel and a combination of old botti and barrique. Like all great producers the vilification process is simple and the resulting wines are fresh, textured and expressive and are a pleasure to drink. Importer Notes
