- TASTING NOTE: "The 2020 Rosso di Montalcino is wildly attractive, with sweet violet florals, sugar dusted blackberries and smoke forming its bouquet. It washes across the palate with grace, soft-textured and round, while leaving a staining of wild berries under an air of blue and purple floral perfumes. Gently tannic, yet more of an accent than an obstacle, the 2020 finishes with medium length, leaving hints of licorice to slowly fade. (Drink between 2022-2025)." 90 Points - Eric Guido, Vinous
- ABOUT THE WINE: A blend of the three Val di Suga vineyards, on mainly sandy plots with an average vineyard age of about 10 years. 15 days on skins. Aged in traditional 50-hl Slavonian oak barrels for 6 months, and another 3 months in bottle before release.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER: First established in Vald di Cava in 1969, Val di Suga makes wines from three terroirs in Montalcino, a total of just 55 hectares all planted with Sangiovese Grosso. The Vigna del Lago where from the elegant Brunello wines are made, the Vigna Spuntali terrior where from the robust and structured Brunello wines are from and the Poggio al Granchio where the wines are typically fruity on the nose with higher acid levels.
