- TASTING NOTE: A complex style of sparkling wine, comprising of both an array of ripe fruit characters and typical yeast derived characters from the extended lees ageing. Fresh red apples, lemon and citrus curd accompanied with subtle toast, brioche and flint notes. The wine has the ability to age for a substantial amount of time, due to its natural acid backbone, which provides exceptional drive and length. Will develop more complex and toasted notes with time under cork. Sittella
- ABOUT THE WINE: A blend of premium Pemberton Pinot Noir (68%) and Chardonnay (32%). Hand-picked, whole bunch pressed to both tank and barrel. 60 months on lees. Dosage at 6g/L. Aged in the Sittella cellars for a minimum of five years before release.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Sittella, owned by Simon and Maaike Berns, is a family business and was established in 1998. The vineyard around Sittella was planted in 1993. In 2003, Sittella opened its Cellar door for wine tasting and sales. Varieties grown in the Swan Valley include Verdelho, Chardonnay, Petit Verdot, Tempranillo, Shiraz, Muscat, Chenin Blanc, Albarino and Grenache. Their vineyard in Margaret River/Wilyabrup called Buckshot Ridge, produces Cabernet, Chardonnay and Malbec. They also source fruit from Pemberton for their ultra-premium Western Australian vintage sparkling wines. Simon and Maaike Berns son, Yuri is now the head winemaker.
