- TASTING NOTE: "The 2024 Riesling Bockenauer Felseneck Kabinett trembles with flintiness. It was picked from three terraces that turn southwest, getting sun just a little later but basking in the evening sun, especially later in the year. The palate is absolutely light, pure, stony and salty, with a spray of citrus fruit. This may be Kabinett, it may have residual sweetness, but the 2024 is not sweet at all. It is full of slate and lemon notes of absolute brightness and precision, like a Japanese blade." 95 Points - Anne Krebiehl, Vinous
- ABOUT THE WINE: The 2024 Riesling Kabinett Felseneck was harvested from 50-60% south-facing slopes which see little morning sunlight but extended sunlight in the afternoon and early evening. Soils are primarily Devonian slate and quartzites.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Tim Fröhlich took over the family estate from his parents in 1995 and implemented strict regimes to improve quality levels, both in the vineyard and winery, that has seen the estate rise meteorically in the years since. Today it is considered one of the best wineries in Germany.
The family's wine history goes back more than 200 years to 1800, when the Fröhlichs first produced wine. Tim's parents Karin and Hans Fröhlich took over the winery in the early 1970s. Riesling is the dominant variety of the estate with about 85% of area under vine and Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir together accounting for the rest. The wineries best vineyards are found in Felseneck in Bockenheim, plus Stromberg, Felsenberg and Kupfergrube in Schlossböckelheim as well as Halenberg and Frühlingsplätzchen in Monzingen.
