- TASTING NOTE: Deep ruby red in color, this wine opens with a vibrant nose of Morello cherry, prune, and black pepper. The palate is medium-bodied, revealing ripe black and red berry flavors, with a characteristic nutty aftertaste. Balanced, enduring tannins lead to a pleasantly dry finish.
- ABOUT THE WINE: Grown in consistent marl soils of clay and limestone, the 45-year-old vines yield grapes that are crushed and destemmed. Fermentation and maceration take place over about 8 days at a controlled temperature of 27°-28°C in stainless steel horizontal fermenters. A one-month malolactic fermentation follows, then eight months of aging in stainless steel vats before bottling. No filtration or fining is applied.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Raineri was established in 2005 by Gianmatteo Raineri, Fabrizio Giraudo, and Luciano Racca to produce Dolcetto from the Dogliani DOCG area. By 2006, they expanded to include a full range of classic Langhe wines—Barbera, Nebbiolo, and Barolo from Monforte d’Alba. Located in Panerole, Novello, their cellar features three core areas: stainless steel vinification, aging in French oak Botti Grandi and barrels, and temperature-controlled bottle storage. Upholding the Langhe Master Vintners' philosophy, they emphasize careful manual vineyard work, oak barrel aging, and daily barrel sampling for precision.
