- TASTING NOTE: Pale straw yellow in colour with greenish highlights, bright and clear. Intense and saline on the nose, giving way to floral and vegetal aromas of Mediterranean scrub and white-fleshed fruit. Pleasing aromatic palate correspondence, fresh with vibrant acidity, well-balanced and long on the finish.
- ABOUT THE WINE: Stellato is Sardinia’s iconic Vermentino, produced from old vines in Serdiana. A wine with unmistakable character from mineral-rich soils of remarkable purity and depth, capturing sun and sea breezes. Stellato reflects the star-lit Mediterranean nights that inspire its name. The must, obtained from a gentle pressing of the grapes, after light clarification and inoculation with selected yeasts, ferments in stainless steel tanks at a constant temperature of 15°C. Once fermentation is complete, the wine remains in contact with its fine lees for approximately five months, at the end of which, following clarification, it is bottled.
