  • TASTING NOTE: "This is drinking beautifully right now. Fleshy orchard fruits and a lovely citrus line. Nice phenolics balance the nutty weight that has developed a bit in bottle. Cracking entry point white burgs with a bit of bottle age!" David Gillman, HWS
  • ABOUT THE WINE: The wine comes from around sixty Climats located mainly in the villages of Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault. Depending on the vintage, certain plots from Hautes-Côtes de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise complete the blend of this cuvée. 14 months ageing of which 70% in oak barrels (10% new) the rest in stainless steel.
  • ABOUT THE PRODUCER:  Olivier Leflaive was co-manager of Domaine Leflaive until 1994 before withdrawing to concentrate on his own venture which he started in 1985. Today the domaine produces wine from some 65 appellations with 85% of the production being white wine. One of Burgundy’s most respected producers the estate produces a number of domaine wines from its own vineyards alongside its range of negocé bottlings. The wines are made by Franck Grux and the theme in their wines is elegance and finesse rather than power with restrained use of oak and great purity of fruit.
