- ABOUT THE PRODUCER: The Lantieri de Paratico family traces its roots in the Franciacorta district back to the year 930 AD with wine production dating back to the 16th century. The more contemporary history of this winery develops around Capriolo, an evocative medieval borough where, in the 1970s, Giancarlo Lantieri was one of the first – with oenologist Cesare Ferrari – to make his first steps in the production of sparkling wines, now recognised and acclaimed as Franciacorta D.O.C.G.
