- TASTING NOTE: "What a splendid drink, and up there as the finest to date; it’s also the first vintage under winemaker Andrew Bretherton’s watchful eye since taking over as chief winemaker in late ’23. It’s flinty, citrusy, tangy and juicy, with white nectarine and some sweet, cedary oak plus mouth-watering sulphides. Yet, given all that, it’s complex, detailed and satisfying. It feels luscious and flavoursome, with fine acidity reining in everything rendering it linear." 96+ Points - Jane Faulkner, Halliday
- ABOUT THE WINE: Sourced from Block 13 of the Karridale vineyard (a cool, southern sub-region of Margaret River), it is a blend of 95% GinGin clone and 5% 277 clone. The wine is hand-picked, whole-bunch pressed, and fermented with wild yeast before aging for nine months in oak.
- ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Juniper is the owner and custodian of some of Margaret River's most prized vineyard blocks. Family owned since 1973 and under the stewardship of the Hill family from 1998, the estate now comprises three distinct sites from Karridale in the south to Metricup in the north. Juniper's philosophy is anchored in organic viticulture and a culture of innovation and collaboration in the winery.
