- TASTING NOTE: "The label has been given an upgrade; it's smart-looking, better, and the wine is in top form. This is super steely, fine and zesty, with ultra-refreshing acidity that adds as much length as line. Plenty of stuffing, though, with lemon balm and Meyer lemon, and a touch of tropical fruit that tends towards pineapple. A fine layer of creamy lees fleshes out the palate a tad and adds a savoury tone. Ultimately, a pared-back style, highly appealing and moreish." 95 Points - Jane Faulkner, Halliday
- ABOUT THE WINE: Gin Gin, Clone 76 and 95 Chardonnay grapes are sourced from the estates Karridale and Wilyabrup vineyards. Whole bunch pressed straight to barrel. 15% new oak. Fermented with wild yeasts and partial malolactic fermentation. Nine months total time in oak.
- ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Juniper is the owner and custodian of some of Margaret River's most prized vineyard blocks. Family owned since 1973 and under the stewardship of the Hill family from 1998, the estate now comprises three distinct sites from Karridale in the south to Metricup in the north. Juniper's philosophy is anchored in organic viticulture and a culture of innovation and collaboration in the winery.
