- TASTING NOTE: Classic Margaret River complexity in a glass featuring grilled hazelnuts, sea spray with lemon and grapefruit. The palate is generous displaying a fleshy texture, saline acidity, notes of nougat. It finishes with a lovely citrus pithiness and preserved lemon flavours. Juniper
- ABOUT THE WINE: Gin Gin, Clone 76 and 95 Chardonnay grapes are sourced from the estates Karridale and Wilyabrup vineyards. Whole bunch pressed straight to barrel. 15% new oak. Fermented with wild yeasts and partial malolactic fermentation. Nine months total time in oak.
- ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Juniper is the owner and custodian of some of Margaret River's most prized vineyard blocks. Family owned since 1973 and under the stewardship of the Hill family from 1998, the estate now comprises three distinct sites from Karridale in the south to Metricup in the north. Juniper's philosophy is anchored in organic viticulture and a culture of innovation and collaboration in the winery.
