  • TASTING NOTE: Bottled at 90-proof, Single Barrel Select layers subtle notes of caramel and spice with bright fruit notes and sweet aromatics for a Tennessee Whiskey with one-of-a-kind flavour. Every bottle of Single Barrel is as unique as the barrel it was born in. Some are a bit more oaky, some are a bit more sweet, and no two barrels are exactly the same.
  • ABOUT THE PRODUCER: The Jack Daniel's Distillery, nestled in the small town of Lynchburg, Tennessee, has a rich and storied history that dates back to the mid-19th century. It was founded by Jasper Newton "Jack" Daniel, who was born in 1849. From a young age, Jack was intrigued by the art of whiskey-making, and he began learning the craft under the tutelage of a local Lutheran minister named Dan Call. In 1866, Jack Daniel officially registered his distillery, making it the first registered distillery in the United States. This distinction is proudly noted on every bottle of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey. The distillery was built near a limestone cave spring, which provided a pure and consistent water source, crucial for producing high-quality whiskey. Jack Daniel's is known for its unique charcoal mellowing process, known as the "Lincoln County Process." This involves filtering the whiskey through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal, which imparts a smoothness and distinctive flavor to the spirit. This method is what differentiates Tennessee whiskey from other types of whiskey, such as bourbon.
