  • ABOUT THE WINE: Located in Vacqueyras, Château des Tours is the property of the celebrated Emmanuel Reynaud of Château Rayas and Château Fonsalette fame. This domaine spans 40 hectares and produces a Vacqueyras rouge (80% Grenache and 20% Syrah), a Côtes-du-Rhône rouge (65% Grenache, 15% Cinsault and 20% Syrah) and a Côte-du-Rhône blanc (100% Grenache) under the name Château des Tours. It also produces, under the same name, a Vin de Pays de Vaucluse rouge (Grenache, Counoise, Syrah, Cinsault, Merlot and other varieties) and a Vin de Pays de Vaucluse blanc (100% Clairette). "The home estate of Emmanuel Reynaud (of Rayas), Chateau des Tours produces beautiful, fresh and elegant efforts that often bear more than a passing resemblance to the more prestigious (and expensive) wines of Rayas." Jed Dunnuck, The Wine Advocate
  • ABOUT THE PRODUCER:  In the Southern Rhône Valley appellation vineyards, Emmanuel Reynaud produces his Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée wines, which include Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Village, and the crus of Châteauneuf du Pape and Vacqueyras. Both red and white, these wines are crafted from the vineyards of several estates: Château Rayas, Château Fonsalette, and Château des Tours, all managed by the Reynaud family, who have been winegrowers for generations since 1880. Today, these wines are matured in the cellars of two estates: Château Rayas and Château des Tours, which is a 40-hectare property features vines planted with Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Merlot, and Counoise for red wines, along with Grenache Blanc and Clairette for white wines.
