- TASTING NOTE: "Pure and enchanting, there seems to be a little more concentration with this release, the freshly squeezed lime and Bickford's tones carrying a little more weight and perhaps a little more nuance as well. Hints of honeysuckle, citrus blossom, dried honey, crushed stone and almond paste. There's a nice squeak of grapefruit pith texture in the mix too, sapid, lacy acidity and a touch of green apple to the finish, long and dry, as is the norm with this wine." 95 Points - Dave Brookes, Halliday
- ABOUT THE WINE: The Enchanted Garden vineyard was originally planted in 1910 and thrives to this day, a 7 acre Eden Valley Vine Garden. Whole bunches were hand-picked in the second week of March then de-stemmed without crushing the fruit to fill the press exactly. Juice from the free run and pressings were separated then fermented in tank. The wine has a high level of natural acidity, low pH, and although bone dry, only 11.8% alcohol.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER: McLaren Vale based Dandelion Vineyards is owned and run by winemaker Elena Brooks and her husband Zar. Their home vineyard Firehawk Farm is certified organic and biodynamic and those principals stretch across the vineyards they own across the Adelaide Hills, Eden Valley, Barossa Valley and Fleurieu Peninsula. Elena endeavours to draw upon vineyards untempered by over-management, as much as she strives for a softer impact in the winery. As a result, Dandelion wines are increasingly bright, transparent and stamped by a more sensitive oak regime than in the past.
