  • TASTING NOTE: Pale lime to pale straw. Vibrant aromas of brioche, oyster shell and white peach. A precise and impressive palate, with notes of citrus peel, warm bread directed by a fine acid backbone giving incredible length. A wine with great delineation, a true reflection of the unique Gimblett Gravels Vineyard.
  • ABOUT THE WINE: Made from multiple parcels of Chardonnay clones planted on the stony soils within the Gimblett Gravels Vineyard, each parcel contributes a unique character to the wine. Whole bunch pressed to barrel for fermentation. 25% new oak. Aged for 10 months.
  • ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Craggy Range is a family owned winery established in 1997, and situated in the shadow of the spectacular Te Mata Peak in the premium wine growing area of Hawke’s Bay New Zealand. They produce iconic wines from grapes grown on exceptional sites in Hawke’s Bay, Martinborough, and Marlborough, always with a focus on quality. From the stony, warm soils of the Gimblett Gravels in Hawke's Bay to the volcanic, clay soils of Te Muna Road in Martinborough, these exceptional vineyards produce wines with amazing aromatics, purity and complexity.
