An almost refreshing feel, squeaky in texture, shimmering with fine, high-quality tannin, detailed with salt bush, bay leaf and salted licorice amongst dark plum, cassis, cola and green-olive fruit characters. The perfume is evocative, the flavours in harmony and stretched luxuriously to a fine, trailing herb 'n' peppery spice mix finish. - ABOUT THE WINE: "The sixth release of Corymbia Cabernet Sauvignon, from our Margaret River Calgardup Vineyard. The vineyard is positioned towards the southern end of Margaret River, just 2km inland from Redgate Beach. It sits surrounded by native bush and the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park. After 15 years of searching, we are now the custodians of this land. Calgardup Vineyard sits atop an ancient granite outcrop, weathered over 1.2 billion years of time, to reveal a Keenan gravel loam that is perfectly suited to growing Cabernet Sauvignon. The purity, delineate fruit characters and graphite framework are the hallmarks of this site. Variety, place and experience woven together to redefine what’s possible." Corymbia

ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Corymbia is the passion project of Rob and Genevieve Mann, producing stunning wines from vineyards in the Swan Valley and Margaret River. Chenin Blanc, Tempranillo and Malbec are sourced form the old vines of Rocket's Vineyard in the Swan Valley and Cabernet comes from Calgardup Vineyard in Margaret River. Both vineyards are dry grown and organically farmed.
