- TASTING NOTE: ''Lots of juicy fruit with blackberry and blueberry character and hints of flowers, too. Medium body, round tannins and a fresh finish.'' 92 Points - James Suckling (Previous Vintage Review)
- ABOUT THE WINE: 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet sauvignon and 5% Cabernet franc. Wine is matured in French oak barrels, which are renewed for one third every year. Wine stays in barrels for 12 to 18 months depending on the vintages, before bottling.
- ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Created in 1870 approximately, the property belongs to the Ardurat-Sudrat family for five generations. Vats were renewed in 2001 and wine barrel storehouse in 2004. On the right side of the Dordogne and in the prolongation of the coast of Saint-Emilion. Camped at hillside and dominating the loops of the Dordogne, Beauséjour is located on a watershed which prolongs the hillock of Fronsac towards the Northeast.
