- TASTING NOTE: “From Les Tuyaux, Herbues, Fleurières, all destemmed. Pretty mid purple. This is more in red fruit than black, with good body and excellent length. A very nice example reflecting its mostly northern Nuits provenance. Drink from 2027-2032. Tasted: October 2023.” 90-91 Points - Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy
- ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Benjamin Leroux is one of the most exiting modern producers in Burgundy. He created a name for himself at Domaine du Comte Armand (where he was appointed the general manager at just 24 years of age) before setting up his own negociant business in 2007. Today he owns or manages about 30% of the vineyards that go into his wines with his range of wines coming from across the Cote d'Or, from Chassagne-Montrachet to Gevrey-Chambertin. His own holdings are all certified organic (with many biodynamic principals also applied) with sourced vineyards sharing his own farming philosophy's. His winemaking is well known for his discreet handling of oak and purity of fruit expression.
