  • TASTING NOTE: "Aromas evoking blue flower, perfumed talcum powder and fragrant berry waft out of the glass. Polished and lithe, the juicy palate offers bright red cherry, strawberry and cinnamon alongside taut, fine-grained tannins. It's well balanced, with fresh acidity. It's already accessible but will drink well for several years or more. Drink through 2029." 94 Points - Kerin O'Keefe, Wine Enthusiast
  • ABOUT THE WINE: From two southwest-facing hillside vineyards situated in San Rocco Seno d’Elvio (Alba) at 280m above sea level: vines average 30 years of age on Lequio formations ( (grey marl alternating with sand layers). Fermentation and three week maceration in stainless before elevage for 12 months in old large format oak. Aged for a further nine months in bottle before release.
  • ABOUT THE PRODUCER: The estate is located in the heart of the Langhe region of Piedmont in the San Rocco Seno d’Elvio township. Marco and Vittorio Adriano cultivate vines and vinify exclusively with their own grapes to make wines that wholly reflect the terroir. Nowadays, the estate encompasses 50 hectares, of which 10 hectares are devoted to hazelnuts, 10 are forested or lie fallow and 30 hectares are given over to Nebbiolo and Barbaresco, along with Barbera, Dolcetto, Freisa, Sauvignon Blanc and white Moscato vines.
