Some intact bunches are added to the Gewurztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc egg ferments to infuse wild berry skin and green mango skin notes into the developing wines. Each variety remains in the same vessels for ten months, with occasional stirring to suspend yeast lees, build texture, and freshen the maturing wine.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eABOUT THE PRODUCER: \u003c\/strong\u003eFlowstone is named for the famous limestone caves of the region, in particular Lake Cave, with was originally known as Queen Of The Earth. The winery is a partnership between long-time Margaret River winemakers Stuart Pym and Janice McDonald, who were the founders of Suckfizzle and Stella Bella wines in the 1990's. At Flowstone, there’s no rush and no shortcuts – just care, curiosity, and a deep respect for the craft. Each wine is made on the small estate and released only when it’s ready, capturing the individuality of the region and their own unique take on it as winemakers.
