Jacques farther was a wealthy biscuit baron and had instilled a love of fine wine into Jacques who had already apprenticed with Gerard Potel at Domaine de la Pousse d'Or. In 1971 Jacques met his future wife Rosalind, an American girl who had come to work the vintage and ended up staying for life. Their sons Jeremy and Alec, and Jeremy's wife Diana now run the winery, with Diana in charge of the winemaking. The original 5.5ha Morey-St Denis estate now covers over 15ha and includes holdings in Puligny Montrachet. Vineyard practices have been certified organic since 2012, with biodynamic inputs being used since 2008. Dujac's wines are noted for their exceptional fragrance, structure and longevity.
